Hollywood visits Alaska...kinda

Last week, Disney was in town filming for an upcoming movie...The Guardian. Here's a photo of the helicopter they used to get some shots around the base. Thing is, the whole cast and crew were supposed to come to Kodiak for filming. They didn't because of rumblings from St. Augustine volcano. So, they're making the movie at the air station in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Fake snow and all. Oh, and of course with superimposed shots from the real Kodiak. We were almost famous! :D
